"I can do all things through him who gives me strength." (Philippians 4:13) This is one of my favorite Bible verses. I have heard it and said it multiple times. It is so true, we can all do things with God on our side. Sometimes it may seem like the hardest thing we will ever do, but with him, we can do it all. For example, I am 28 years old and probably endured way more than most do in a life time. It is true, God never gives us more than we can handle. I am not going to share my life story, but trust me. A couple of months ago, I was in Florida. I had just miscarried, my husband and I had to make a decision about moving, my uncle just passed away and then while I was at my Uncles funeral in Florida another Uncle passed away. Everything was happening so fast, but after the funeral, I took a walk on the beach and I just stopped. The sun was shining, fish were swimming and the ocean still created waves. I thought to myself, what a beautiful day. I felt God telling me to write Uncle Ed <3's Aunt Jeanie in the sand, so I did. I snapped a few pictures on my Iphone and then created a beautiful collage of pictures to give her for Christmas. She loved it. I always try to do for others and put a smile on their face. I had a lot going on in my life and could have been mad at the world and God, but I held my head up and appreciated what God gave me. We tend to take for granted the simple things in life, like a sunset, sunrise or ocean. Life is so short, so we have to live while we are on this earthly, planet. As is reads, "Set your mind on things above, not on earthly things." (Colossians 3:2)
These are some of the pictures I took that day. It was just priceless. Trusting in God is so powerful. We all go through rough times in life, but how you respond makes all the difference in the world. AMEN !
