He is the Author of Many

Day two basically tells me that Jesus was an author in many ways.  We really can't comprehend just how much he did for us by lying his life on the cross.  I am so thankful for everything in my life.  I get upset over small stuff, like my cupcakes or cake balls not turning out just right, but that is nothing compared to what Jesus went through.  Here are a few scriptures to remind us, how great of an author he truly was and is:

Author of Life (Act 3:15) You killed the Author of Life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.  

If you believe this then you have eternal life.  It is amazing how little we have to do, to receive that promise. 

Author and Perfector of our Faith (Heb 12:2) Let us fix our eyes on Jesus, the author and perfector of our Faith, who for the joy set before him endured the cross, scorning its shame, and sat down at the right hand of the throne of God. 

Author of Salvation (Heb 2:10) In bringing many sons to glory, it was fitting that God, for whom and through whom everything exists, should make the author of their salvation perfect through suffering. 

These are three important verses.  What happened on the cross was bitter sweet.  Jesus endured all that pain and suffering for the whole WORLD (who believes). We are not on this earth to please man, but to please God and do his will, not our own.  God wants us to be opulent, but never forget Jesus sacrifice for us to have eternal life and what comes along with that promise. That is to love everyone and love Christ with all your heart, soul and strength. AMEN.
