Who is Jesus.....

So as stated in my last post, I finished the first week.  Yesterday and today I have read scripture that says who Jesus truly is and here are a couple that I have read so far:


Advocate (1 John 2:1) My dear children, I write this to you so that you will not sin. But if anybody does sin, we have one who speaks to the father in our defense - Jesus Christ, The Righteous One.
Almighty (Rev 1:8 and Matthew 28:18) Rev: I am the Alpha and the Omega, says the Lord God, "who is, and who was, and is to come, the Almighty." Matthew: Then Jesus came to them and said, "All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me."
Alpha and Omega (Rev 1:8 and Rev 22:13) Rev 22:13 I am the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.
Amen (Rev 3:14) To the angel of the church in Laodicea write: These are the words of the Amen, the faithful and true witness, the ruler of God's creation.
Apostle of our Profession (Heb 3:1) Therefore, holy brothers, who share in the heavenly calling, fix your thoughts on Jesus, the apostle and high Priest whom we confess.
Atoning Sacrifice for our sins (1 John 2:2) He is the atoning sacrifice for our sins, and not only for ours but also for the sins of the whole world.

This part of Monvee has really made me think about Jesus and who he really is.  He is someone who has done way more than anyone can ever do for us.  He died for us.  We are not to serve other people, but him.    He is a true advocate for us, because we all SIN and if someone is pointing out your every sin, then they are not following Christ like they should. We all need encouragement and reminder (everyday) that we are humans and Jesus already paid the price for our salvation, if we just BELIEVE !!!!!
